Camping at
The Pinecone Forest

The Pinecone Forest Nature Sanctuary is an eco-friendly retreat where individuals, families and groups can experience nature in a majestic forest setting. Located on the York River and Conroys Marsh, the scenery and wildlife are spectacular year round.

We have two camping areas, one at the head of the Upper Conroy Rapids ideally suited for individuals and families looking for a secluded spot to camp, the other is a group camping area on Pinecone Bay.

Need a place to overnight on your river trip down the York?
Our campsite is ideal for paddlers who are tripping down the York River from Bancroft and Egan Chute Provincial Waterway Park and need a secure place to overnight. This location is about 1 km below the Slabtown bridge at the head of the Upper Conroy Rapids. Good well for drinking water, firewood included.

Includes full access to the trail system and to Conroys Marsh.
